Chemo treatment gifts and accessories designed by a cancer survivor to help cancer patients overcome their fears. Illustrated by Lotte May, a blood cancer survivor, with all profits donated to Blood Cancer UK.
When Lotte May was diagnosed with Stage 4b Hodgkin Lymphoma she felt overwhelmed. Then she found Blood Cancer UK’s website. Their information was easier to digest, and helped her come to terms with her diagnosis.
Now that she has recovered from cancer, Lotte wants to raise money for people living with blood cancer and support all the work Blood Cancer UK does for the community. To do this, she has launched a line of gifts and accessories featuring one of her illustrated designs, a Kingfisher. This is because, Kingfishers are known for overcoming their fears and represents good fortune and freedom. The concept came to Lotte May from the kingfisher who sat by her living room window, throughout the 6 months of chemotherapy. Giving her hope and strength to carry on.
